8-Door Controller The Open path Core Series Smart Hub is a modular access control unit that supports up to 8 Open path Smart Readers. The Core Series Smart Hub features the Access Control Core (OP-ACC), that securely makes all entry decisions. The Core connects to expansion boards that include ports for Open path Smart Readers, Request to Exit (REX) inputs, and Contact Sensors. The Core Series Smart Hub uses RS-485 wiring to connect to the Smart Readers and is powered by a built-in 12/24VDC power supply. Internet connectivity to the Openpath access control cloud for system management and communication. access control power supply 12/24V → The panel can operate on either 12 volts DC or 24 volts DC power supply. This makes it compatible with various power sources and door locking mechanisms. 8-Door →8-DOOR ACCESS CONTROL PANEL can control access for eight individual doors (each door can have one or more readers). In many cases, each door also has exit buttons, sensors, and relays connected to it.
